The Department of Urology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and Wake Forest University School of Medicine is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Urologist to join our growing regional practice in Lexington, North Carolina. This position offers the opportunity to build a busy community-based urology practice while maintaining a direct connection to one of the premier academic urology departments in the Southeast.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive urologic care to patients across Davidson County and surrounding communities, managing a broad range of general urologic conditions. The practice is supported by a robust referral network, advanced diagnostic capabilities, dedicated operating room resources, and seamless access to tertiary and quaternary services available through Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist.
As a faculty member of Wake Forest University School of Medicine, the physician will have opportunities to participate in resident and medical student education, departmental conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical research activities. Candidates with interests in subspecialty care, innovation, and academic engagement are encouraged to apply.
The Department of Urology is nationally recognized for excellence in patient care, education, and research. Faculty collaborate across multiple subspecialties, including:
· Urologic Oncology
· Reconstructive Urology and Men's Health
· Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery
· Endourology and Stone Disease
· Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia and Minimally Invasive Surgical Therapies
· Robotic and Advanced Minimally Invasive Surgery
· Pediatric Urology
