AHNMG is an established multispecialty group of 275 + clinicians providing professional medical services to the hospital entities of Atrium Health Navicent, Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin and Atrium Health Navicent Peach, as well as, the patients in the communities served by Atrium Navicent Health. Atrium Health Navicent, as the second largest hospital in Georgia, is a 637-bed American College of Surgeons verified level one trauma center.
The AHNMG practice is affiliated with the Levine Cancer Institute (LCI) of Atrium Health (formerly Carolinas HealthCare) based in Charlotte, North Carolina. As we partner with LCI, we strengthen our ability to provide top-quality cancer care through an organized and efficient delivery system for all our patients in Central Georgia. Our partnership with LCI will increase access to clinical trials and investigator-initiated research giving our patients earlier and better access to new therapeutics. The practice is in the Peyton Anderson Cancer Center co-located with Surgical Specialists, Medical Oncology, and Radiation Oncology onsite and is Commission on Cancer accredited. We are the first in Georgia to be an approved National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer through the American College of Surgeons. We are academically affiliated with Mercer University School of Medicine and have clinical learners rotate on our service as well as General Surgery Residents actively involved with clinical care and research. - Relocation Reimbursement
- On-Call Assignment of 1:4 shared by well-established partners with the support of surgical physician assistants
- Advanced minimally invasive surgery including robotic surgery for benign and malignant disease and TAMIS procedures
- Total anorectal and pelvic floor care in collaboration with Urogynecology. Including anorectal physiologic testing, pelvic floor physical therapy and Interstim procedures
- Outpatient anorectal procedures and colonoscopy
- Fellowship training
- Well versed in minimally invasive, Robotic, and open surgical procedures
- Board certification or board eligibility
- Active Georgia license or ability to obtain
