The Pediatric Neurology Division at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a full-time pediatric epileptologist (MD/DO) to join a nationally recognized team.

We are seeking a pediatric epileptologist to join our current group of 4 pediatric epileptologists and 2 epilepsy APPs.  This is a clinically focused position with a strong emphasis on providing comprehensive and compassionate epilepsy care including medication, dietary, neurostimulation and surgical treatments for our patients.  The role includes both outpatient clinic and inpatient care staffing our epilepsy monitoring units, as well as, reading long term and routine EEG.  We prioritize patient care and collaborative teamwork to create a positive work environment.

Team Based Care - Thriving team comprised of 4 physicians & 2 epilepsy APPs, as part of a larger pediatric neurology group including 7 general pediatric neurologists and 4 APPs.  Close collaboration with 3 pediatric neurosurgeons, inpatient and outpatient nurse navigators and pediatric neuropsychologists.

Training and/or Experience Required

MD/DO

Board Certified or Eligibility in Neurology with Special Qualifications in Child Neurology

Board Certified or Eligibility in Epilepsy and/or Clinical Neurophysiology
