Wake Forest University School of Medicine is seeking an Academic Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our growing team at Advocate Atrium Levine/Brenner Children’s Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC.

Highlights
Work in a Supportive & Collaborative Environment: 
The Pediatric Gastroenterology Section is a dynamic and collaborative team leading the region in preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric digestive and liver disorders. Our team includes 7 faculty Pediatric Gastroenterologists, 6 Advanced Practice Providers, 2 Pediatric Psychologists, 1 Registered Dietitian, 1 Social Worker, 5 Pediatric GI Nurses, 5 Endo Nurses, and 1 Endo Tech. Specialized programs in IBD, Celiac disease, and Eosinophilic Esophagitis, Aerodigestive, CF, along with a Functional GI clinic staffed by licensed Psychologists, highlight our expertise. We also run a short gut and parental nutrition program through multidisciplinary clinic and surgical team. With locations in Winston-Salem, Clemmons, Kernersville and Greensboro, North Carolina, we are committed to comprehensive pediatric gastrointestinal care. We are also very excited to have received accreditation for a pediatric fellowship program to commence in 2025.
Training and/or Experience Required
Pediatric Gastroenterologist Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited M.D. or D.O. medical school
  • Current North Carolina medical license
  • BC/BE in Pediatrics
  • Completion of Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship
