Department Description:
Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist's section on Urology is a major referral center that brings together the best of patient- and family-centered care and research, offering understanding, expertise and the latest in diagnostic techniques and treatments for kidney stones, urologic cancer, incontinence, pelvic pain, congenital abnormalities and men's health issues.
Our urologists perform minimally invasive surgical procedures, including robot-assisted laparoscopic procedures for both adults and children. We also have a team that specializes in women's pelvic health issues, ranging from incontinence and sexual dysfunction to pelvic pain and prolapse.
Education and Research
- Education is an important part of the mission of the Department of Urology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. From offering lectures in the community to training medical students and residents, we are committed to sharing our expertise and furthering knowledge about urology.

- Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line
- Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature

Candidate Qualifications and/or Preferences:
MD or MD/PhD
Board certification in urology
North Carolina licensure or eligible, if applicable
