Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is growing, and we’re excited to add an Anesthesiologist to our team in the Piedmont Triad Region of North Carolina. We have both academic and community (non-academic) opportunities available. Program Strength, Growth & Culture:

The Department of Anesthesiology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine is comprised of approximately 135 faculty, along with extensive CRNA and trainee support. Our program has a longstanding reputation for stability and satisfaction, with many residents choosing to stay or return, reflecting the supportive environment and meaningful career opportunities available here. 

As part of a growing health system, you’ll benefit from ongoing investments in new ambulatory surgery centers, expanded surgical facilities, and approximately 120 anesthetizing locations, supporting over 100,000 cases annually. This growth is thoughtfully driven by both increasing demand and strategic expansion.

Training and/or Experience Required

  • Board Certified (or eligible) by the American Board of Anesthesiology
  • Licensed (or eligible) to practice medicine in the state of North Carolina.
