Atrium Health Levine Cancer and Division of Surgical Oncology, Atrium Health in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking a Breast Surgical Oncologist with interest and experience in breast care to join the Department of Surgery and Levine Cancer. Applicants should have a demonstrable interest in teaching and research. Levine Cancer cares for more than 17,000 cancer patients per year including over 1900 patients with breast cancer. The Soft Tissue/Breast Section of the Division of Surgical Oncology consists of seven surgeons caring for patients at four locations in the Charlotte metropolitan area.
Levine Cancer consists of 25 locations in North and South Carolina. Over 400 clinical trials are currently underway with more than 1000 publications in the last decade. Levine Cancer joined with the NCI designated Wake Forest Comprehensive Center in 2023 and now serves as a unified program entitled Atrium Health Levine Cancer. Substantial philanthropic funding exists for the program with dedicated research resources. The Department of Surgery consists of 87 surgeons in 9 Divisions while the Division of Surgical Oncology is made up of 5 sections: Endocrine, Head and Neck, HPB, Gastrointestinal and Soft Tissue/Breast. Applicants will serve as faculty for the Wake Forest School of Medicine Charlotte Campus which will be opening this summer.

- Board Eligible or Certified Surgeon
- Breast or Complex Surgical Oncology Fellowship training
- Experience in an academic setting
