Description & Requirements
Atrium Health Cabarrus is a 457-bed tertiary care hospital and the second largest in the Greater Charlotte market, serving a rapidly growing and diverse patient population. The hospital is part of Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute, one of the largest and most comprehensive cardiovascular programs in the Southeast.
Electrophysiology Program Overview
The Cabarrus Electrophysiology program delivers comprehensive care for the full spectrum of heart rhythm disorders. Services include evaluation and management of atrial fibrillation and complex arrhythmias, catheter ablation, and device based therapies, supported by advanced EP technology and integrated device monitoring. Physicians benefit from system wide collaboration and access to a broad network of electrophysiology expertise and subspecialty resources across Atrium Health.
This is a busy, clinically robust electrophysiology opportunity within a growing hospital and an academically minded practice that utilizes the latest technologies. The program offers strong institutional support, shared clinical resources, and access to a large, integrated referral network.
The practice operates within a collaborative, multi site EP model across Pineville, Cabarrus, and Carolinas Medical Center, consisting of 14 electrophysiologists and 17 EP advanced practice providers. APPs play an integral role in EP call support and the management of routine follow up patients, allowing physicians to focus on complex clinical care and procedures.
