- Limited inpatient service
- Option of protected time to participate in clinical trials and investigator-initiated research.
- Our Memory Center is supported by experienced physicians, neuropsychologists, research staff, and a social worker, fostering a collaborative environment for comprehensive dementia care.
- Provide compassionate care for patients with Alzheimer's and other dementias, supporting their care partners.
- Engage in clinical, educational, and research activities to advance dementia care.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to offer holistic and integrated care plans.
- Main memory center site is at Advocate Lutheran General however multiple other sites in need of development/satellite clinics. Practice locations for those open to discussion.
- Educate families, colleagues, and staff across the system on dementia care practices.
- Board Certification in Neurology with fellowship training/UCNS Board Certification/Eligibility in Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry preferred.
- Board Certification in Psychiatry, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice with fellowship training in Behavioral Neurology or Geriatrics and Board certification/eligibility with plans to certify may also be considered.
- Neurology candidates pursuing Behavioral Neurology certification through the practice track will be considered.
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a team-based environment.
