Critical Care Opportunity

Atrium Health Navicent Medical Group (AHNMG) is seeking a fellowship trained Critical Care Physician in the beautiful and historic Macon, Georgia area. Macon is situated south of metropolitan Atlanta and within driving distance to the mountains and barrier islands of Georgia. AHNMG is an established multispecialty group of 200 + clinicians providing professional medical services to the hospital entities of Atrium Health Navicent, Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin and Atrium Health Navicent Peach, as well as the patients in the communities served by Atrium Navicent Health. Atrium Health Navicent, as the second largest hospital in Georgia, is a 637-bed American College of Surgeons verified level one trauma center.

In compliance with Leapfrog safety standards, Atrium Health Navicent is increasing its intensivist footprint to provide the best care possible in all our critical care units. These units include Surgical Trauma, Neuro, Medical and Cardiovascular. The candidate would join our experienced team of physicians and advanced practice providers. The ideal candidate has a passion for teaching and must be forward thinking with a dedication to excellence. Each critical care unit is between 10 and 16 beds.

Passion for Cardiovascular a plus 

·        Active Georgia license or ability to obtain

·        Excellent communication (written and verbal)

·        Ability to perform all skills in the critical care setting

·        Willingness to work with and teach residents/fellows
