- Emergency Department Highlights
o 19-bed ED serving a diverse and engaged community
o 22,000 annual visits – a balanced volume that offers meaningful acuity
o Team of 8 EM physicians, partnered with experienced APPs and RNs who value collaboration
o 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling; 10–11 shifts/month with dual daytime coverage for added support
o 1.0 FTE = 1,552 clinical hours annually, allowing for excellent work-life balance
o Level 3 Trauma Center status ensures exposure to a full range of emergent presentations
- Infrastructure & Clinical Support
o In-house EMS: Managed within the department for seamless communication and care coordination
o OB and Psychiatry onsite, along with case management to support multidisciplinary patient care
o Telestroke and Teleneurology services integrated for rapid specialty access
o EPIC EMR system for efficient clinical documentation and care coordination
o Robust network of approachable and collaborative specialists
