- Hybrid Faculty Role: Combination of inpatient and outpatient precepting, resident education, and scholarly engagement.
- Resident Education: Direct teaching, clinical supervision, didactics, curriculum development, mentorship, and participation in evaluation and ACGME-required committees (CCC/PEC).
- Scholarly & Program Support: Engagement in scholarly activity (QI, research, curriculum innovation) and collaboration with program leadership on accreditation and continuous improvement.
- Clinical Care: Provide high-quality patient care and oversee resident rotations, including inpatient medicine, at Hugh Chatham Health Family Medicine Residency.
- MD or DO with completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Eligibility for unrestricted North Carolina medical license
- Eligibility for North Carolina DEA registration for prescription writing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated commitment to medical education and community-focused care
- Prior academic or teaching experience preferred but not mandatory
