Highlights
  • The Community Gastroenterology team of Atrium Health - Wake Forest Baptist is expanding to new locations in High Point 
  • You will join experienced Gastroenterologists along with Advanced Practice Providers (APP's)
  • Strategic growth plan includes the addition of several new Gastroenterologists and APP's to become part of this team
  • Collaborative relationship with 20+ faculty physicians at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC
  • Hybrid Gastroenterology practice that will include hospital consults supported by a dedicated inpatient APP, outpatient hospital cases and inpatient hospital cases in a dedicated endoscopy department
  • Seeking a comprehensive GI provider to practice a full range of GI Endoscopy, both upper and lower
  • Call will be equally shared as the group expands and daytime hospital work will be partially covered by a dedicated GI Hospitalist
  • EPIC EMR for streamlined patient management
  • Leverage DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic
  • Become part of an integrated, nationally recognized organization with a physician-led medical group and embedded service line support
Training and/or Experience Required
  • Graduation from an accredited medical school as an M.D./D.O.
  • Successful completion of Internal Medicine residency at an accredited healthcare institution.
  • Successful completion of Gastroenterology Fellowship at an accredited healthcare institution.
  • Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing required.
