- Robust, full time general surgery position which replaces a retiring surgeon
- Located in Marinette, Wisconsin, surgeries will be done at the Aurora Bay Area Medical Center, a 56-bed, Level III community hospital
- You will enjoy the full breadth of general surgery with outstanding variety in a collaborative and collegial environment
- Serving a large geographic area, your patient draw is approximately 120,000
- Excellent facility, newer hospital, and featuring physician offices, five fully equipped exam rooms, and a state-of-the-art procedure room
- Excellent support staff with committed patient service representatives and three experienced LPNs, ensuring an efficient practice and optimal patient care
- Call schedule includes a manageable 10-day stretch (including a weekend); additional call assistance is provided through an ACS team based at another facility
- All equipment is available with exciting future plans to incorporate robotic surgery capabilities
- Amazing community on the shores of the Bay of Green Bay, with thousands of acres of country forest, lakes, and rivers
- Safe neighborhoods and excellent schools
- Excellent place to raise a family and enjoy fantastic year-round outdoor recreation, including hiking, boating, fishing, and winter sports—a true haven for nature lovers and adventure seekers
- Green Bay is less than an hour away, 1.5 hours to Door County and just 2.5 hours to Milwaukee
- EPIC EMR
- Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line
- Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature
- Experience an environment that provides safe and equitable care for all patients
- Completion of a General Surgery residency program
- Collaborative, team player
- Some trauma experience is desirable
- Strong desire to work in a smaller community, building relationships and fostering wellness
