The Atrium Health Navicent Medical Group is recruiting for a fellowship trained Gynecologic Oncologist seeking a division leadership opportunity. This individual will join a team committed to a comprehensive cancer program for Central Georgia at our Peyton Anderson Cancer Center.  We are looking for a physician motivated to meet the highest possible standards of care, partner in providing the best in evidence based safe care in a premier and highly respected environment, mentor early careerists, and grow the clinical program. We are looking for candidates who are forward-thinking with a dedication to excellence.

The department serves as the academic training center for 16 residents, along with medical students, through our faculty appointments within the Mercer University School of Medicine. We are the tertiary Ob/Gyn referral center for South & Central Georgia. The department consists of Generalist, MFM, Gyn Onc, Urogyn, REI, and MIGS teams. Faculty enjoy both the opportunity to educate future providers and build strong clinical practices. We collaborate with quality, academic, and research endeavors with our colleagues at both Atrium Health Wake Forest and Atrium Health-Charlotte. Faculty rank is awarded upon a combination of work experience, academic endeavors, and research experience. This position includes a unique opportunity to be a part of a professional network of Residency and Fellowship Program Directors and Faculty across Advocate Health’s Southeastern Region.

Atrium Health Navicent is part of the Advocate Health family which includes a unique opportunity to be a part of a network of gynecologic oncology clinical programs with partnerships across Advocate Health. The department offers collaboration with our Gynecologic Oncology colleagues at the Atrium Health Levine Cancer Center-Charlotte with clinical trials, tumor boards, and education.

Training and/or Experience Required
  • Experience preferred. 
  • Must be Board Certified.
  • Active Georgia License or ability to obtain.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Speak to their passion for teaching the next generation of physicians.
