Atrium Health Navicent with Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute is recruiting a Cardiologist interested in focused heart failure services. We are looking for a physician motivated to meet the highest standards of care and to partner in providing the best in evidence-based care in a premier and highly respected environment. We are seeking candidates who are forward-thinking with a dedication to excellence.

Atrium Health Navicent proudly boasts an STS 3-star Heart and Vascular Center which houses cardiac catheterization labs, dedicated state of the art operating rooms, hybrid OR Cath lab, EP lab, CVICU, and a cardiac rehabilitation center; all staffed by a dedicated team of highly skilled Cardiac Anesthesiologists, Perfusionists, Physician Assistants, nurses, and support personal. Our cardiologists perform a broad range of services including inpatient consultations and daily rounding, Cardiomems, biopsies, Barostim, echocardiogram/EKG interpretation, and support an outpatient heart failure patient clinic and a cardiogenic shock team.  Advanced treatment options include LVADs; additional surgical and minimally invasive options including bypass surgery, heart valve surgery, and implantable heart devices.

Training and/or Experience Required

Requirements of Ideal Candidates:

·        Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology and Heart Failure

·        Proficient in broad based cardiology procedures

·        Active Georgia License or ability to obtain.

·        Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
