Description & Requirements
Deliver care aligned with Atrium Health’s quality, safety, and patient experience standards.
Maintain hospital privileges at Atrium Health Cleveland.
Work closely with a robust support team including 2 nurses, 7 physicians, and 3 APPs per shift.
Manage patients in a facility with an open ICU (no procedures required).
Rotate every six months between:
Admit Shift: 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Swing Shift: 2 p.m. – 12 a.m.
7-on/7-off schedule structure.
Perform admission-focused clinical duties with an average of 8 admissions per shift.
Provide high-quality inpatient care within a collaborative hospital medicine team.
Team & Environment
Inpatient-only practice model.
Group includes 16 physicians and 6 APPs.
No call coverage required.
Average rounding census for the team is 16–18 patients, though this role is admission-focused.
Strong interdisciplinary support and access to system-wide resources.
No additional procedural skills required.
New graduates welcome to apply.
North Carolina medical license (or ability to obtain).
ABIM Board Certification (or eligibility).
MD or DO degree.
