Description & Requirements

The Department of Internal Medicine, Section of Hospital Medicine – Hospital at Home Team is seeking a Hospital at Home Physician with specialized training in Hospital Medicine and Telehealth to join our growing team at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC.

Work in a Supportive & Collaborative Environment:

The Hospital at Home (HaH) program provides virtual acute care to patients in their homes, supported by a multidisciplinary team including paramedics, nurse navigators, and ancillary staff. Physicians in this role supervise credentialed Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

Training and/or Experience Required

Qualifications

  • MD or equivalent degree and License to practice in NC.
  • Should be able to get credentialed at one of the AHWFB hospitals for inpatient care.
  • Should maintain IP Hospital Medicine practice.
  • 2 years of experience as a hospitalist. Outpatient experience in addition to 2 years as a hospitalist is a plus. 
  • Must maintain a DEA license.
