Join Atrium Health as a Hybrid Extended Care Pediatric Primary Care Physician —part of Advocate Health, one of the largest nonprofit integrated health systems in the country.

Highlights
  • 1.0 FTE or 0.5 FTE
  • Virtual Primary Care practice combined with in person care in Fort Mill, SC
  • Employment is shift-based, with each clinician working 32 hours per week on a rotating basis.
  • Clinic Hours 8am-8pm Mon-Sun
  • Some weekend shifts are expected (1 weekend every 3 or 4 weeks). 
  • Shifts: Daytime only (no overnight shifts)
  • Call: 1 week every 6-8 weeks (phone back up for Nocturnist support)
  • Clinical assistance via virtual medical assistants and care coordination support via referral coordinators
  • Patients can schedule directly with their physician, preserving the trusted physician-patient relationship found in traditional practices
  • Nutrition counseling, Parent education, Virtual house calls, Chronic disease management, Lactation support, and Behavioral health consultation are services offered by the virtual primary care practice
  • In person care provided through Extended Care Clinic offering full primary care services


Training and/or Experience Required
  • Board Certified Pediatrician
  • At least 3 years of practice experience
  • Patients seen in person in Fort Mill, SC office
  • Our virtual pediatricians will care for patients in NC, SC, GA, IL, and WI.
