- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in an approved medical or surgical specialty
- Active or eligible North Carolina medical license
- Experience in wound care management required
- Fellowship in Hyperbaric Medicine or Training (preferred)
- American Board of Wound Management – Certified Wound Specialist Physician (preferred)
- UHMS Advanced Training in Hyperbaric Medicine (ATMO) (preferred)
- Willingness to complete required wound care and hyperbaric coursework if not already trained
