The Department of Radiology at Wake Forest is nationally recognized for its cutting-edge imaging facilities and strong educational programs. Highlights include:

  • State-of-the-art imaging facilities at three adult hospitals, a pediatric hospital, an NCI-designated cancer center, and multiple busy outpatient imaging centers.
  • Team of 50 faculty members, 14 fellows, and 40 residents.

  • Full spectrum of IR, including but not limited to fundamental vascular access, biopsy, and drainage procedures to high acuity multi-modality interventions.
  • Remote home workstation provided with 24/365 tech/IT support provided 
  • Cutting-edge technology – Philips Intellispace PACs, Powerscribe 360, Epic EMR and multiple AI tools (RadAI, AiDOC) to support high quality and efficient workflow

Training and/or Experience Required
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina
  • Interventional Radiology Fellowship training required
  • Commitment to academic excellent and promoting the academic mission of the department
