Atrium Health Eastover University OB/GYN is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician to join our growing Women's Care team. This exciting opportunity is based in a brand-new office opening in Harrisburg, NC, with deliveries performed at Atrium Health University Hospital.

Join a collaborative, well-established practice backed by one of the nation's leading health systems while helping launch a new location in one of the Charlotte area's fastest-growing communities.

Highlights

Position Highlights

  • Full-time employed position
  • Hybrid inpatient/outpatient practice
  • Monday–Friday clinic schedule (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
  • Shared 9-physician call rotation
  • Deliveries and hospital coverage at Atrium Health University Hospital
  • Dedicated block OR time available
  • Immediate patient demand in a growing market

Practice Overview

Become part of a highly experienced and supportive team consisting of:

  • 11 Physicians
  • 2 Advanced Practice Providers
  • 7 General OB/GYN Physicians
  • 2 Gynecologic Physicians
  • 1.5 OB Hospitalists
  • 2 Nurse Practitioners

The group averages:

  • 90–100 deliveries per month
  • Approximately 5 admissions per provider while on shift

Clinical Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care including:

  • Routine OB/GYN services
  • Colposcopy
  • LEEP procedures
  • IUD placement and management
  • Nexplanon insertion and removal
Training and/or Experience Required

Candidate Qualifications

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency program
  • Eligible for North Carolina medical licensure
  • New graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply
