Join Aurora Health Care as an Orthopedic Surgeon/Adult Reconstruction in Waterford, WI —part of Advocate Health, one of the largest nonprofit integrated health systems in the country.

Highlights
  • This is a full-time position where you'll provide patient care in the clinic and perform surgeries at Aurora Medical Center – Burlington, as well as at our modern surgical facility, Aurora Southern Lakes.
  • Your typical week will consist of two days seeing patients in the clinic, two days in the operating room, and one day dedicated to administrative responsibilities.
  • You’ll handle a broad range of procedures, including general orthopedic surgeries and those specific to your fellowship training.
  • Clinic hours usually run from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but may fluctuate based on urgent patient needs or inpatient care requirements.
  • As this is a new patient panel supporting our growing practice, you can expect to see up to 24 patients per clinic day.
  • Our facilities offer well-equipped exam rooms and experienced staff, including Registered Nurses (RNs) and Medical Assistants (MAs), with additional support from Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
  • APPs manage their own patients and assist with overflow and follow-up care for the physicians.
  • Both Waterford and Southern Lakes locations are equipped with imaging, laboratory, and therapy services for comprehensive patient care.
  • You’ll be part of a supportive, collaborative team of physicians and staff.
  • Call coverage is shared on a 1:4 rotation.

  • Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line
  • Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature
  • Experience an environment that provides safe and equitable care for all patients

Training and/or Experience Required
  • Completion of an accredited orthopedic residency program
  • Completion of an adult reconstruction/total joints fellowship, however we will consider other sub-specialty training
  • New grad or experienced
