As Director of Mass Spectrometry, you will:
- Provide clinical and technical leadership for a rapidly growing mass spectrometry program.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Clinical Pathology and a multidisciplinary team to drive innovation in test development and clinical application.
- Play a key role in shaping the future of precision diagnostics through translational research and clinical integration.
- Lead the development and implementation of novel diagnostic assays.
- Provide expert consultation to healthcare providers on test selection, interpretation, and utilization.
- Engage in the education of residents, fellows, and medical students.
- Contribute to the department’s strong academic mission through research and scholarship.
- MD or PhD with specialized training and experience in mass spectrometry.
- CLIA laboratory certification and/or licensure.
- Proven experience in a high-volume, complex clinical laboratory environment.
- A passion for advancing laboratory medicine through method development, informatics and interdisciplinary collaboration.
