Highlights

As Director of Mass Spectrometry, you will:

  • Provide clinical and technical leadership for a rapidly growing mass spectrometry program.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Clinical Pathology and a multidisciplinary team to drive innovation in test development and clinical application.
  • Play a key role in shaping the future of precision diagnostics through translational research and clinical integration.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the development and implementation of novel diagnostic assays.
  • Provide expert consultation to healthcare providers on test selection, interpretation, and utilization.
  • Engage in the education of residents, fellows, and medical students.
  • Contribute to the department’s strong academic mission through research and scholarship.
Training and/or Experience Required
What You'll Bring:

  • MD or PhD with specialized training and experience in mass spectrometry.
  • CLIA laboratory certification and/or licensure.
  • Proven experience in a high-volume, complex clinical laboratory environment.
  • A passion for advancing laboratory medicine through method development, informatics and interdisciplinary collaboration.
