Pediatric Nephrology Opportunity, Charlotte, NC

The Pediatric Nephrology and Hypertension Division is a thriving group of 8 physicians and 3 APPs expanding to meet the needs in the Charlotte metropolitan area. Advocate Health is seeking one full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Nephrology physician to join their well-established and nationally recognized team within our growing health care system located in Charlotte, NC.

Levine Children’s Hospital, a part of Advocate Health, has taken us to another level of service to care for the growing population of children in our region. Consistently ranked as one of the top Children’s Hospitals by U.S. News and World Report, it is the most comprehensive children’s hospital between Atlanta and Washington, DC, helping families stay closer to home.  There are 12 floors with 234 patient beds, including a 20-bed PICU. Carolinas Medical Center serves as the Charlotte campus of Wake Forest University School of Medicine and all our faculty are appointed through the University.

Highlights
  • Clinical support in both inpatient and consult service activities, outpatient ambulatory clinics, and independent pediatric dialysis unit.
  • Education of residents and medical students.
  • A clinical faculty appointment commensurate with experience is available with Wake Forest University School of Medicine

Training and/or Experience Required
  • BC/BE in Pediatric Nephrology.
  • Applicants should have a strong background in renal replacement therapies and transplantation and an interest in the care of complex multidisciplinary patients.
