- Team & Culture: Join 7 pediatricians in a collaborative, consultative environment with strong peer support and monthly team meetings.
- Patient Volume: Expect ~25 patients/day, increasing to 35–40 on call days.
- Schedule: Start with a 4.5-day week, flexible scheduling with AM/PM sessions. Option to reduce to 4 days as practice builds.
- Call Structure: 1:8 rotation for Friday and weekend calls; occasional Saturday mornings with Monday off. Even distribution over an 8-week cycle.
- Practice Setup: Includes personal office, 3 exam rooms, dedicated MA, and shared RN support.
- Clinical Scope: 95% outpatient, 5–10% inpatient/newborn rounding. Minimal inpatient volume; severe cases referred to Children’s Hospital (65 miles away).
- Patient Age Range: Birth through high school graduation; special needs patients seen until age 21.
- Expertise & Support: High clinical skill level due to distance from tertiary care; strong specialty support and proximity to hospital (8 minutes).
- Position Details: Replacement role with 2-year guarantee. High demand—most providers are above the 50th percentile.
