Whether you're seeking professional growth, meaningful impact, or a team that lifts you up—this is where it starts- The inpatient rehabilitation unit at Advocate Christ Medical Center is a specialized facility where you will enjoy 50% inpatient and 50% outpatient care
- Advocate Christ has a 37 bed rehab unit providing the full scope of service; you will also do EMGs and consults at Advocate Trinity Hospital
- The unit is comprised of 37 beds, with an average daily census of 10-12 inpatients and 8-12 outpatients
- Staffing includes a robust team with skilled Social Workers and Case Managers, Registered Nurses, rehabilitation technicians, and a full spectrum of therapy professionals
- Physicians in this unit will practice the full scope of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), working closely with specialists and other team members
- Procedures will include botulinum toxin injections, joint injections, and EMGs
- The patient population served is notably diverse, with 35% stroke, brain and spinal cord injury, cardiac/complex medical, complicated joint replacement, some cancer, and other conditions such as trauma, fractures, lower extremity amputations, and general debility
- Weekend and holiday call rotation 1:4.
- EPIC EMR
- Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line
- Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature
- Experience an environment that provides safe and equitable care for all patients
- Completion of an Accredited PM&R Residency Program
- Fellowship training welcome, not required
