Join Atrium Health Psychiatry as a Neuropsychiatry Physician in Charlotte, NC—part of Advocate Health, one of the largest nonprofit integrated health systems in the country. 

We are seeking a full-time Interventional Psychiatrist to join our innovative Interventional Psychiatry program. This position is dedicated exclusively to providing interventional services and offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team delivering cutting-edge treatments for patients with treatment-resistant mood and related disorders.
Highlights
  • Key Responsibilities
  • • Conduct comprehensive interventional psychiatric consultations to assess appropriateness for neuromodulation and other interventional treatments
  • • Perform and manage Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT)
  • • Conduct Motor Threshold (MT) determinations for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
  • • Provide clinical oversight and supervision of TMS technicians
  • • Provide medical supervision for a nurse-monitored esketamine clinic
  • • Collaborate with referring providers and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
  • • Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives as appropriate
  • • Neuromodulation education for residents and medical students
  • • Management of cervical Vagus Nerve Stimulators (cVNS) 
  • Additional Note
  • Our TMS clinic offers a full range of evidence-based neuromodulation treatments, including:
  • • Traditional repetitive TMS (rTMS)
  • • Deep TMS (dTMS)
  • • Stanford Accelerated Intelligent Neuromodulation Therapy (SAINT TMS)
