Highlights

Build Your Career in a Thriving Pulmonary & Critical Care Practice

Join a well‑established and rapidly growing Pulmonary & Critical Care practice alongside one experienced physician, where you’ll enjoy a balanced mix of outpatient care, inpatient consults, and advanced procedural opportunities.

This role is primarily outpatient‑focused at our Lincoln office, with approximately 25% inpatient responsibilities and opportunities to participate in critical care in higher acuity ICUs within Atrium Health. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with nights and weekends covered by our robust Virtual Critical Care program—allowing you to maintain an excellent work‑life balance.

You’ll provide inpatient Pulmonary and Critical Care consultative services and procedural support, including bronchoscopy and thoracentesis, while working closely with a highly collaborative Hospitalist team. A limited and well‑supported call schedule promotes job satisfaction and long‑term sustainability.

For physicians interested in professional growth and leadership, this position offers the unique opportunity to help develop and lead the expansion of advanced bronchoscopy services in the market.

You’ll be part of a large, highly respected Pulmonary and Critical Care network with more than 70 physicians and 50+ advanced practice providers across the Greater Charlotte region. Additional support includes a comprehensive Virtual Critical Care program that significantly reduces ICU call burden, in‑house anesthesia for airway management, and access to vascular and surgical teams for central line placement when needed.
