Highlights
  • 100% Outpatient Role -- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with 8 ½ clinical sessions per week and 6-7 weeks of call annually.
  • Expected Patient Load --12-16 patients per day.
  • Patient Population-- Autoimmune diseases and related conditions.
  • Special Equipment/Ancillary Services -- Access to advanced resources to support patient care.
  • Collaborative, Multidisciplinary Team with access to infusion services and advanced diagnostics
Training and/or Experience Required
  • Graduation from an accredited medical school as an M.D./D.O.
  • Successful completion of Internal Medicine residency at an accredited healthcare institution.
  • Successful completion of Rheumatology Fellowship at an accredited healthcare institution.
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology from said residency.
  • Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License as a current M.D./D.O.
  • Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing required.
