- Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, is a 645-bed busy Level I teaching hospital, dedicated to providing outstanding care to our communities
- You will join a group of 7 collaborative, supportive and experienced surgeons, dedicated to the care and treatment of a diverse patient population
- You will provide medical and surgical trauma care, provide care in the SICU, along with some acute care surgery
- Shifts will include 14 12-hour shifts / month for trauma and critical care and 2 days / month will include acute care surgery
- There is also opportunity for some outpatient follow-ups and inpatient consults
- Experienced, dedicated staff consisting of RNs and APCs, will be there to support your practice
- You will appreciate the exceptional support from our Service Line leadership, the team and the organization
- This is a busy teaching hospital with approximately 1500 adult admissions annually and the only Level I in the region
- EPIC EMR
- Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line
- Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature

- Completion of an accredited general surgery residency program and SCC fellowship
