Highlights
  • Move into the well-established, full-time Vascular Surgery practice of a retiring surgeon
  • The Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center is a 938-bed Level II quaternary hospital and is the largest hospital in Wisconsin; St. Luke's is a nationally recognized health care provider, offering a wide range of medical specialties with the ability to address all medical concerns.  
  • You'll benefit from working with a highly skilled and experienced team of five partners, whose tenure spans from 1-30 years
  • Excellent staffing, as vascular surgeons are supported by APC group of 6 who assist with consults and inpatient/outpatient care; MA and RN in clinic
  • Private office with access to 2-3 exam rooms during scheduled clinic block time which will likely be 2 half day clinic blocks per week
  • Robust referral base from within the local area and across Wisconsin, providing a stable and loyal patient base
  • Healthy work-life balance with call every 5 days for weeknight call and every 5 weeks for weekend call
  • All equipment available for minor outpatient vascular procedures done in clinic, and ultrasound services within suite; CT, Lab, pharmacy on site for patient convenience
  • Tremendous variety with the opportunity to do a wide range of open vascular surgeries and endovascular interventional procedures
  • EPIC EMR
  • Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line
  • Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature
  • Experience an environment that provides safe and equitable care for all patients

Training and/or Experience Required
  • Completion of an accredited integrated program or surgery residency and vascular fellowship
  • Prefer minimum of 5 years experience in both open vascular surgery and endovascular procedures, however the team is also open to new grads depending on the training
  • Excellent technical skills, documentation skills, and aligned with AAH values of compassion, equality, excellent, partnership and stewardship
