Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a Hospitalist Physician to join our growing team at Davie Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. 

Position Highlights:

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to and manage Rapid Responses and Codes.
  • Assess patients, develop treatment plans for acute events or changes in status.
  • Coordinate with nursing staff, addressing concerns and questions.
  • Provide thorough hand-off/sign-out at shift conclusion to night team.
  • Determine and arrange for transfers to tertiary hospitals when necessary, including contacting PAL line for support.

Training and/or Experience Required
Requirements:
  • Board certified/eligible in Hospital Medicine or related specialty.
  • Experience managing acute and critical cases in a hospital setting.
