Highlights
Wake Forest School of Medicine’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art evaluation and treatment of orthopedic problems, educating the next orthopaedic and podiatric surgeons and researching advanced treatments. With over 25 academic locations, 3 research laboratories, 90 faculty, 2 residencies and 9 fellowships we have a wide range of clinical, educational and research complements.

Our subspecialty orthopaedic and podiatric surgeons provided compassionate, high-quality medical care to patients. Interdepartmental consultation across 10 subspecialties and a strong commitment to research and teaching keep the department at the forefront of new developments in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with orthopedic and rehabilitation problems.
  • Podiatric resident teaching, clinical and laboratory research opportunities available but not required
  • Current department of 90 total faculty includes 10 podiatric surgeons, 3 orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeons and 9 podiatric residents
  • EPIC EMR
  • Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line
  • Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature
  • Experience an environment that provides safe and equitable care for all patients
Training and/or Experience Required
  • Eligible for NC Medical License
  • Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in podiatric surgery
  • Candidate can treat conditions related to foot and ankle with a community focus
