Highlights
  • Clinical Focus: The ideal candidate will be proficient in treating conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Experience treating conditions related to the hand in addition to general orthopedics is preferred, but not required.
  • Teaching Opportunities: Engage in orthopedic resident and fellow teaching, as well as participate in clinical and laboratory research if interested.
  • Collaboration: Join a team of 90 faculty in the Department, 4 surgeon faculty, 1 non operative physician and 3 APPs in practice ensuring seamless referrals and collaboration.
  • Call Expectations: Call duties include general orthopedic call 6 days per month with the support of APPs and fellows.
  • Support: Benefit from the support of 3 advanced practice providers (APP) and active clinical support

Training and/or Experience Required
  • Certification: Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • License: Eligible for NC Medical License.
