Description & Requirements

Advocate Health is currently seeking a Hospitalist to join us in Burlington, Wisconsin. This location is perfectly situated between Chicago and Milwaukee and is the ideal location if you are wanting to live in Illinois, but work in Wisconsin. This Hospitalist group has 7 physicians and it is the longest tenured program in the system. 
Highlights
  • This 123-bed hospital has state-of-the-art heart care services, including an interventional radiology lab, diagnostic catheterization lab and electrophysiology lab
     
  • 10 bed open ICU with Critical Care support that rounds every day and eICU available for coverage
     
  • Opportunity to perform procedures if you would like to - they are not required
     
  • Patient volumes are typically around 14-18 per physician per day
     
  • Consult services are available on-site for cardiology, GI, general surgery, ortho, urology, ENT, and nephrology
     
  • Block scheduling - 7 on and 7 off

Training and/or Experience Required
Internal Medicine training - BE/BC required
