The Department of Pathology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Director for Molecular Pathology & Genetics with specialized training in Clinical Cytogenetics, Molecular Genetics & Molecular Oncology to join our growing team at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC.

Responsibilities:
• Core responsibilities include daily review, interpretation, and documentation of clinical cytogenetic, FISH, chromosomal microarray, and molecular diagnostic test results within established turnaround times.
• Support a quality management and proficiency program according to written policies and procedures.
• Provide input for developing new assays and participate in test method selection and validation.
• Collaborate professionally with laboratory co-directors, technologists, and other laboratory operations staff.
• Collaborate with clinicians and researchers to provide advanced diagnostic care while supporting cutting-edge research initiatives.
• Play a vital role in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
