Join Advocate Health as a Surgical Oncology Physician in Park Ridge, IL—part of Advocate Health, one of the largest nonprofit integrated health systems in the country.

Position Overview
We are seeking an early career fellowship-trained Surgical Oncologist to join a well-established group of three surgical oncologists practicing across two hospitals. This position offers the opportunity to practice the full breadth of surgical oncology within a collaborative, multispecialty environment, supported by multiple senior partners and robust institutional resources.

Clinical Scope
The incoming surgeon will serve as the primary surgical oncologist for a broad range of complex oncologic cases, including melanoma, sarcoma, combined gynecologic oncology cases, complex gastrointestinal malignancies, endocrine tumors as needed, HIPEC and gastric and esophageal cancers. In addition, the surgeon will provide backup coverage for hepatobiliary, pancreatic, bile duct, adrenal, and liver malignancies, with senior partner support readily available.

Program Development
This role offers a unique opportunity to develop and grow a robotic surgical oncology program, which does not currently exist within the group. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in shaping minimally invasive and robotic approaches to oncologic surgery, with institutional commitment to program development and growth.

Practice Environment
The surgical oncology group consists of three surgeons with complementary and variable clinical focuses, fostering a collaborative and supportive practice model. Clinical responsibilities are shared across two hospitals, providing a diverse case mix, strong referral base, and opportunities for multidisciplinary collaboration.
This position is ideal for a surgeon seeking a comprehensive oncologic practice, program-building opportunities, and mentorship within a collegial and well-supported surgical oncology team.
