Atrium Health Navicent Medical Group is recruiting for an additional Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our practice located in Macon, Georgia. We are looking for a physician motivated to meet the highest possible standards of care and to partner in providing the best in evidence-based care in a premier and highly respected environment. We are looking for candidates who are forward-thinking with a dedication to excellence. Atrium Health Navicent is a part of the Advocate Health family, with a combined footprint across 6 states and is the 3rd largest non-profit with 67 hospitals. Atrium Health Navicent proudly boasts a Heart and Vascular Center which houses cardiac catheterization labs, dedicated state of the art operating rooms, an EP lab, CVICU, and a cardiac rehabilitation center; all staffed by a dedicated team of highly skilled Cardiac Anesthesiologists, Perfusionists, Physician Assistants, nurses, and support personal. Our Cardiothoracic Surgeons perform a broad range of services including ECMO, thoracic aortic surgery, minimally invasive aortic valve replacement and CABG. Navicent is a certified destination LVAD center and has an active TAVR program that was started in 2017. The thoracic program involves all aspects of thoracic surgery except for transplant.

Training and/or Experience Required

Requirements of Ideal Candidates:

·        Valve experience or interest

·        Robotic mitral valve experience a plus

  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
Active Georgia License or ability to obtain
