- As one of Georgia's largest healthcare systems, it is licensed for 637 beds, including pediatrics, medical surgical, trauma and cardiac surgery.
- The Atrium Health Navicent Emergency Department, with helipad capability and three urgent care centers, treats thousands of visitors per year.
- MCNH provides a broad range of community-based outpatient diagnostic, primary care, wellness and comprehensive rehabilitation services.
- It is the primary academic hospital for Mercer University School of Medicine, providing residency and fellowship programs for over 100 residents and is affiliated with multiple universities as a clinical education site.
- Manage acute neurological emergencies and stroke activations in the inpatient setting.
- Provide consultative neurology services to the Emergency Department, ICUs, and medical/surgical floors.
- Collaborate seamlessly with our Neuro-Interventional, Neurosurgery, and dedicated Stroke Unit nursing teams.
- Actively participate in the academic mission, collaborating with Mercer University School of Medicine residents and medical students.
- Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program
- Board Certification/Eligibility: Neurology
- Vascular Neurology or Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship training/experience is a strong plus
