Description & Requirements

Atrium Health’s Department of Obstetric and Gynecology is looking to hire a full time Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology (PAG) Physician to join our growing practice in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a unique opportunity to join an established practice two office based providers but also help to lead and grow a more surgically focused PAG practice within a highly collaborative pediatric subspecialty environment.
Highlights

  • Clinical Responsibilities: Patient care in outpatient clinics and surgical procedures
  • Educational Responsibilities: Participation in resident and medical student education
  • Opportunity for participation in administrative, research, and committee work
  • Practice Model: Blend of clinic and surgical cases, with an emphasis on building a high-quality surgical program
  • Procedures: Access to OR and sedation suite, including robotic surgery capabilities
  • Support Team: 1 Physician, 1 APP, and dedicated nursing staff and office support

Training and/or Experience Required
We are seeking a physician who is passionate about providing patient centered and compassionate care, who can help advance pediatric gynecologic surgical care at our institution and who is adept at multidisciplinary collaboration.

  • Completion of a Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency and Fellowship in Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology is required
  • Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Strong surgical skillset, with experience in advanced and minimally invasive techniques (robotics a plus)
  • Interest in leading and expanding a surgical practice
  • Collaborative mindset to work in a multidisciplinary pediatric setting
  • Interest in academics, with opportunity for a faculty appointment through Wake Forest School of Medicine
