Highlights

The Hospital at Home program is seeking a full-time Physician (MD/DO) trained in Internal Medicine to deliver hospital‑level acute care to adult patients in their homes through a hybrid clinical and virtual care model.

Role Overview

  • Provide acute inpatient-level medical care in a Hospital at Home setting
  • 25% occasional onsite training, meetings, admin, or rounding 
  • Manage up to 16 patients per day with an average of 12 admissions per shift
  • Work a 7 on / 7 off schedule, primarily 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including 24/7 nursing coverage, APPs, and dedicated nocturnists
  • No ICU coverage and no procedures required
  • Call coverage shared and primarily handled by nocturnists

Practice Environment

  • Join a well-established team of 20 physicians and 9 APPs
  • Hybrid care model with strong virtual infrastructure
  • Hospital privileges required at multiple Atrium Health facilities; telemedicine privileges for select sites
Must live in GA
Training and/or Experience Required
MD or DO with Internal Medicine or Family Medicine board certification
GA medical license (or eligibility)
Minimum 1 year of post-training experience
New graduates not considered
This is a remote position but must live in GA for occasional meetings/trainings (25% travel)
